The Desert Experience

Since the beginning of time people have gone into the desert to find themselves. Where time and eternity meet they find what they are seeking: this presence, this undistracted pure being. As Jallalludin Rumi, the mystic poet said, "One glimpse is a blessing."
Experience this once, and we understand something that transforms us for ever. We may forget how to be here, and lose ourselves again and again in our too-busy world, but from now on we know the way home into our being.
The Desert Experience begins in a hotel on the northern edge of the Sahara in Morocco. From here we travel for 5 days by camel into the desert, camping and living together with all basic needs provided by our Bedouin desert guides. On the way, Alan is your guide into being, accompanied by Sabine Rossi, gifted teacher of Qigong and follower of the Sufi path. Together they create the context that invites you to travel deeper each day into mysteries of your being that can open in the desert's vastness.
TRAVEL ITINERARY
Arrival to Morokko:
October 30: Saturday flight (eg. with Royal Air Maroc from Zürich) to Ouarzazate, Morocco
Departure Zürich: 9.20 pm - Arrival Casablanca 10.40 pm
Departure Casablanca 00.15 am (next day) - Arrival Ouarzazate 01.25 am
October 31: Transfer to hotel in Ouarzazate town centre, overnight stay.
Sunday morning, 4-hour bus-ride to Zagora's Hotel Chez le Pacha
"a jewel in the Sahara". 4.30pm: The Desert Experience begins, followed by dinner.
November 1-5: Monday morning the camels are loaded and for 5 days we trek into the Sahara desert and into The Art of Being with Alan and Sabine, returning to Hotel Chez la Pacha on Friday afternoon, party time...
Departure from Morokko:
November 6: Saturday, return via Zagora to your hotel room in Ouarzazate. Leisure time and dinner at the hotel.
November 7: Sunday, early morning, to the airport for the flight to Casablanca and home (unless of course you choose to extend your stay).
Departure Ouarzazate: 5.15am - Arrival Casablanca: 6.20am
Departure Casablanca: 3.20 pm - Arrival Zürich: 8.25 pm
Price
The price for the workshop, all the local transfer and food and accommodation is SFr1370 (€955).
The price of flight: via Zürich ca. SFr729 incl. all taxes (no guarantee).

about Alan
Sabine Rossi learned Qi Gong and authentic medical Qi Gong (AMQ) from famous masters in China and has been teaching this thousand year old art in Switzerland and Europe for ten years. She is acknowledged senior trainer.
She used to be a top athlete and member of the national team of rhythmic gymnastics for many years.
Now Sabine works in her own company as a management consultant and coach. Her focus is on healthmanagement, teambuilding and work-life-balance.
She is also a follower of the Sufi path. |
