Letting Go and Learning to Live: a soul-touching encounter with your own death We can be devastated by the loss of friends, lovers and partners, whether through death or parting. The loss of possessions, career and security can overwhelm our sense of well-being. Even in the good times we often live with a quiet undercurrent of concern about the future. At the root of all this is our fear of life's greatest let-go, our own death. Every goodbye that hurts, every let-go that we can't accept, shows us this fear. And yet death can teach us how to live happily! The Universal Experience guides you into a profound encounter with your own death. It is a journey through which you discover the freedom that becomes yours when you learn how to say goodbye and how to embrace death's mysteries. This beautiful and deeply moving exploration enables you to recognize the real meaning of your relationships with the people close to you, and of your connection with everything in life. The core of the experience is letting go, as a way of releasing fear and expanding freedom. This includes letting go of old fears, hurts and struggles, and letting go into the here-and-now flow of your life so that you can live with more lightness, more playfulness, more wisdom, more compassion and more aliveness! The Universal Experience will almost certainly transform your relationship with death. Its greatest blessing, however, is the effect it is likely to have on the way you live your daily life. A sample, from the many letters of thanks.... I learned to let go, not to give up; I learned to accept but not to resign. This retreat teaches one how to live without fear and yes, how to die without fear. My work is more enriching than ever. Karmen Lee, ex-director of The Malta Center, Phoenix, Arizona, USA ("providing compassion, care and loving support for the dying and their families") You said when you can say goodbye, you can say hello. I carried so much sadness with me for so many years because I could never say goodbye. I wasn't open to new things. I was dead and didn't notice it. I took with me from the Universal Experience a new life, a conscious life with open eyes. There is so much love in the world that I never saw before. Thank you! Christine Stehle, Switzerland I feel as though "the old me" has dissolved and a new being has been created who feels freedom and acceptance for everything there is, and who knows and understands that nothing is impossible. Esther Lipps, Switzerland I feel like an enormous weight was dropped from my shoulders. I feel free. I feel more alive and joyous than ever in my almost 80 years of life. Helen Ziffer, USA
